Family Support ManagerJob ID: 2425 Job Details: At least 3 years experience of working with children under five children and their families Successful record of working within a multi-agency/multi-disciplinary service Successful record of financial management, budget monitoring and control Successful record of financial management, budget monitoring and control Successful record of financial management, budget monitoring and control Experience of representing an organisation at a local and national level Successful record of leading and managing staff, within a performance management framework to achieve outcomes A relevant qualification at a minimum of level three (in early education/childcare, health, or social work) Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, guidance and procedures surrounding Children’s Services Knowledge of child development in the Foundation Stage and of the Birth to Three Matters guidance An understanding of customer care principles, systems and methods Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing to engage the interests of a wide audience including officers, members of the public and representatives of other public bodies and agencies Highly effective leadership and motivational skills, that develop and enthuse others and contribute to the development of an effective Children’s Centres in the borough Well developed project management, planning and organisational skills, able to deliver work and projects on time, efficiently and effectively Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing service requirements and workloads Able to work closely and establish positive relationships with Members, officers of the Council, external agencies, community groups and individuals
