Refuse Collector – Hailsham - Wealden
6.15 am – 3.30pm
Full Time, Contracted Employment
Duties include:
(1) To undertake duties as relief driver when required on any aspect of the Cleansing Service including refuse collection and street cleaning.
(2) To undertake refuse collection tasks in accordance with the Cleansing Services Contract and the ancillary agreement.
(3) Responsible for conducting daily vehicle checks, washing down and maintenance of the vehicle (if working as a driver) and to complete driver defects sheets for the Vehicle Maintenance staff/Supervisor.
(4) Responsible, when acting as a driver, to carry out the full duties and responsibilities of a refuse driver including being responsible for the performance, and health and safety, of the crew.
