ChefJob ID: 1741 Job Details: Pay rate: £10.50 p/h Assist the Head Chef to achieve the gross profit target through correct food preparation, portion control, waste limitation, efficient placing of orders and stock control. In the absence of the Head Chef control, supervise, and organise staff to meet the standard of service required to cope with varying demand. Comply with, and ensure that all catering staff comply with, laid down procedures in respect of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety legislation, and ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and cleanliness is maintained at all times. To work on own initiative within clearly defined procedures and with specific objectives. To lift equipment and supplies on a daily basis, working in a kitchen environment with extremes of temperature. Basic Food Hygiene Training Craft qualification NVQ2 or equivalent
Must have previous experience also Manual Handling training, food hygiene.
